Lyngsos Roof Mix is a blend of horticulture lava, compost, fir bark and coarse sand. It is designed for Green Roof applications not to exceed 18 in depth.
Lyngso's Roof Mix has a saturated bulk density between 80lbs. to 95lbs. per cubic foot and this threshold is not guaranteed.
Green roofs can reduce storm-water runoff, mitigate urban heat island effect, provide insulation, improve air quality, serve as community gardens and recreational space, aid in increased biodiversity and a habitat for wildlife.
