Down To Earth™ Soluble Root Zone is a powerful blend of thirty species of beneficial soil organisms that colonize plant roots and expand into the surrounding soil to greatly increase the absorptive surface area of root systems. Mycorrhizal fungi, Trichoderma and a diverse mix of bacterial species work symbiotically to promote improved soil structure and enhanced root growth. Soluble Root Zone is ideal for inoculating all types of plants and establishing biological diversity in garden soils, potting mixes and soilless media. DTE™ Soluble Root Zone can be watered in to porous media in gardens, seed beds or propagation trays or applied directly to seeds, roots and cuttings when transplanting. CONTAINS NON-PLANT FOOD INGREDIENTS 25% Humic Acids derived from Leonardite Endomycorrhizal fungi: Glomus intraradices, G. mosseae, G. aggregatum, G. etunicatum – 8.5 prop/gm each; Glomus clarum, G. deserticola, G. monosporum, Paraglomus brasilianum, Gigaspora margarita – 6.8 prop/gm each. (30,000 prop/lb. total) Ectomycorrhizal fungi: Rhizopogon villosullus, R. luteolus, R. amylopogon, R. fulvigleba – 11,500 prop/gm each; Pisolithus tinctorius – 240,000 prop/gm; Scleroderma cepa, S. citrinum – 24,000 prop/gm each. (140 million prop/lb. total) Trichoderma: Trichoderma harzianum and T. koningii – 330,000 CFU/gm each. (300 million CFU/lb. total) Saccharomyces: Saccharomyces cerevisiae – 7 50,000 CFU/gm (340 million CFU/lb. total) Bacteria: Bacillus licheniformis, B. azotoformans, B. megaterium, B. coagulans, B. pumilus, B. thuringiensis, Paenibacillus polymyxa, P. durum, Azotobacter chroococcum, Pseudomonas aureofaciens, P. fluorescens – 750,000 CFU/gm each. (4 billion CFU/lb. total) 74.9% Inert Ingredients The objective is to ensure physical contact between the roots and the inoculant. Vegetable Gardens & Flower Beds: Mix 2 tsp. per gallon of water for use as a soil drench for established plants. Water in newly planted seedlings and transplants at the same rate or saturate root balls just before planting. Seed Soak: Mix 1/4 tsp. per quart of water. Soak tomato seeds 72 hours, cucurbits 48 hours, potatoes 12 hours and most other seeds 24 hours before planting. Trees, Shrubs & Vines: Mix 4 oz. in 50 gallons of water. For new plantings, saturate root balls or cuttings just before back-filling. For established plants, drench or inject into surrounding soil to encourage deep root inoculation. Store this product between 40 F and 85 F degrees. Avoid temperatures in excess of 140 degrees F. CAUTION: Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not ingest or inhale. Avoid contact with eyes or skin. Wash hands after use.
