Black Basalt Fines

Product Information

Black Basalt Fines are 1/4" minus basalt quarry fines that are charcoal gray in color. Typically used for pathways and parking areas, dog runs, and utility yards. These quarry fines will compact but with loose grit on surface and is permeable.

Standard application is to spread about 2", water and roll it, then apply the last 1"-2" for extra stability.

We sell the Black Basalt Fines in one cubic foot bag; we supply the bags and you fill them. For larger areas, you'll want to purchase by the ton. We can load your truck or for a fee, have us deliver to your home or jobsite. For orders over 20 tons, please call us for direct pricing.

Black Basalt Fines may qualify for LEED Local/Regional Materials credit. Distances vary for each project location. Please verify the materials accordingly.
